The interludes of this song and the tune of its antara were adapted from the theme of the television series "Mission: Impossible" that ran from 1966 to 1973. The theme music was composed by Lalo Schifrin and was re-interpreted for the TV series' film adaptations starring Tom Cruise.[1]
Rahat Indori's mukhda for this song was inspired by the mukhda S.H. Bihari wrote for a song in the film "Puraskar (C.I.D. Agent)" (1970). The first lines of the two songs were identical.[2]
