- Pritam had composed the tune of this song for Anurag Basu's sequel to "Life In A Metro" (2007). However, the film never materialised and the tune remained unused. Pritam and Basu finally decided to use the composition for this song. It was rumoured at one point that this film was a sequel to "Life In A Metro" (2007) but Basu clarified that that was not the case.[1][2][3][4]
