The phrase "Hava Nagila" in this song is from a Hebrew folk song sung in Jewish weddings and bar mitzvahs. The folk song has been performed by many artists, including Harry Belafonte, Connie Francis, Chubby Checker and Neil Diamond. The tune of "Hava Nagila" itself was used by Bappi Lahiri in the Hindi film song "Habba Ha Habila" ("Dharma Karma", 1997). Usha Khanna had also used this tune in the song "Hawa Azeeza Ya Marhaba" ("Main Hoon Alladin", 1965).[1][2][3]
