- Kadar Khan had written a long speech for Amitabh Bachchan to deliver before this song. Amitabh was not sure if he would be able to remember the entire speech and expressed his reservations to the writer. Kadar Khan then delivered the speech in front of Bachchan to convince him. By the time he finished, Bachchan was moved to tears and ready to deliver the speech.[1]
