- Kalyanji Virji Shah used an early keyboard instrument called clavioline to produce the been-like sound in the interludes of this song. It was music director Chitragupt's assistant Dilip Dholakia who introduced Kalyanji to this instrument. Inspired by this piece of music, Hemant Kumar called upon Kalyanji to play a similar theme on the clavioline for the Hindi film "Nagin" (1954). The been theme in "Nagin" (1954) became a big hit and paved the path for Kalyanji's career as a music director, first on his own and later as one half of the Kalyanji - Anandji duo.[1][MR66]
