This song is remembered for its picturesque locales. Part of the song was shot in the tulip gardens of Keukenhof in Netherlands and part of it was shot in Pahalgam in Jammu & Kashmir.
The tune of this song's mukhda appears to have been adapted from the Dogri folk song "Baathri Da Aaya Banjara Ho". This folk song was recorded by the Indian politician and a descendent of the royal Dogra dynasty, Dr. Karan Singh, for an album titled "Dogri Lok Geet".[1]
