Politically charged
Gar Ho Sake, the first release by Indian Ocean after Susmit left, is its most political and perhaps timed with the 2014 Lok Sabha elections in mind. In their documentary, "Leaving Home" there were two opposing points of view in the band - Susmit did not want politics to be a part of Indian Ocean's music, while Rahul Ram was keen on it. Musically, Gar Ho Sake is more Bandeh, less Ma Rewa. Shubha Mudgal's vocals are brilliant.

Trivia
The lyrics of this song were from a poem that was being used by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in its 2014 Lok Sabha election campaign. The band Indian Ocean came across it and were so impressed that they decided to make a song out of it.
