- This song was an adaptation of the Rabindra Sangeet song "Tomar Holo Shuru Amar Holo Sara".[1][2]
- Amitabh Bachchan called music director Rajesh Roshan on the phone from Calcutta, where the film was being shot, to tell him that this song was too fast for him to shoot. Roshan asked the actor to have faith in him and film the song. Bachchan didn't seem happy about it but carried on nevertheless. The song turned out to be a big hit.[3]
