It’s fitting that romcom The Zoya Factor comes with a soundtrack consisting of jaunty pop. There’s even a tune called “Pepsi Ki Kasam”, by Bollywood’s funkiest singer, Benny Dayal. “Lucky Charm” is a jaunty, folksy number, the kind Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy has produced since 2005’s Bunty Aur Babli soundtrack. “Maheroo” is a familiar-sounding ballad full of Urdu and rock embellishments, and Arijit Singh’s “Kaash Unplugged” is typical of his talent for breezy romantic bops.
