Trivia

    Album

  • This film was Ashok Ahuja's directorial debut. The film, which depicted the story of a struggling filmmaker, was said to be inspired by his own experiences.[1]
  • This was actor Annu Kapoor's first Hindi film. He was credited with his real name Anil Kapoor in it. He later changed his screen name to Annu Kapoor to avoid confusion with Anil Kapoor, who had started to gain fame in the early 1980s. The film's music was composed by his brother Ranjit Kapoor. This was also the debut film of actor Raghubir Yadav, who knew Annu Kapoor and his family from their days at the National School of Drama. Raghubir Yadav had also worked for some time in the theatre company run by Madanlal Kapoor, the father of Annu and Ranjit Kapoor.

    Song

  • Sarka Le Khatiya Naa Baba Naa - The mukhda of this song appears to have been adapted from the same folk song that was used for a hit song in the film "Raja Babu" (1994).[2]
