Trivia

    Song

  • Kabhi Raat Din Hum Door The - This song was the result of Shashi Kapoor's request to Kalyanji - Anandji to give him a special song for this situation. The composer duo playfully said that they would give him a hit tune if he agreed to keep his hands down while shooting for the song sequence! The actor was known for his hand gestures and the composers were pulling his leg for it. It appears from the song sequence that Kapoor did attempt to fulfil Kalyanji - Anandji's condition.[1]
  • Nain Mila Kar Chain Churana - The tune of the song's mukhda was adapted from the French song "Poupee De Cire Poupee De Son", written by Serge Gainsbourg and sung by France Gall. The French song was Luxembourg's entry in the 1965 Eurovision Song Contest. It became a big hit after it won the contest.[2]
