  • O Mere Saathi Re - Salil Chowdhury had used the tune of this song twice earlier - first for the Malayalam film "Etho Oru Swapnam" (1978) and then in the Tamil film "Azhiyadha Kolangal" (1978). The Malayalam film song "Poomanam Poothulanje" was sung by Yesudas, while the Tamil song "Poo Vannam Pola Nenjam" was sung by P. Jayachandran and P. Susheela.[3][4]
