Trivia

    Album

  • The tune of the hit film song "Khaike Paan Banaras Wala" ("Don", 1978) was originally composed for this film. However, the film's hero Dev Anand had rejected it since he had considered it be too fast.[1]
  • This was the second Dev Anand film after "Johny Mera Naam" (1970) that featured brothers named Mohan and Sohan. While Dev Anand played both these roles in this film, he played Sohan and Pran played Mohan in "Johny Mera Naam" (1970). K.A. Narayan wrote the stories for both the films.[2]

    Song

  • Mere Peechhe Ek Ladka Pagla Sa - This short song sung was part of the film but not included in the audio release. The film did not credit her but it may have been sung by Kanchan, the wife of Babla, Kalyanji - Anandji's younger brother.
