Trivia

    Album

  • This film was a remake of the hit Tamil film "Enga Chinna Rasa" (1987), written and directed by K. Bhagyaraj.
  • The audio release of this film had songs by music directors Naresh Sharma, Amar - Utpal and Dilip Sen - Sameer Sen that were not featured in the film.
  • Director Indra Kumar could not shoot a song in his previous film, "Aaj Na Chhodoonga Tujhe Dum Duma Dum" ("Dil", 1990), because he had run out of funds. The film did not include this song on its release. However, when "Dil" (1990) became a hit, Indra Kumar shot the song and re-released the new prints in theatres. He had started work on this film by that time and it was on its sets that he shot the song.[1][2]

    Song

  • Koyal Si Teri Boli - This song was plagiarised from the Tamil film song "Kondai Seval Koovum Neram" ("Enga Chinna Rasa", 1987) composed by Sankar Ganesh.
  • Dhak Dhak Karne Laga - This song was an adaptation of the Telugu film song "Abbanee Teeyani Debba" ("Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari", 1990), composed by Ilaiyaraaja. It was re-created by Mikey McCleary for the film "Nautanki Saala" (2013). Amar - Utpal also used the same tune again for the song "Dil Tera Dhadakne Laga" ("Kasam Teri Kasam", 1993).[3][4][5]
  • Sajna Main Teri Tu Mera - This song was based on the Pakistani film song "Ja Aj Tun Main Teri Tu Mera Sajna Ve" ("Yaar Mastane", 1974), composed by Wazir Afzal.[6]
  • Nach Mundeya - This was an adaptation of a song recorded by the UK-based bhangra group Alaap founded by Channi Singh.[7]
