Trivia

    Album

  • This was actress Shobhna Samarth's second film as a director after "Hamari Beti" (1950). In an interview, however, Samarth revealed that the film was actually directed by Nutan. Both the films featured Shobhna Samarth's daughters Nutan and Tanuja in acting roles and had music by Snehal Bhatkar.[1]
  • The lyrics of the film's songs were credited to someone named S. Ratan. This was believed to be a pseudonym for Ratan Shilotri, Shobhna Samarth's mother and Nutan and Tanuja's grandmother. However, it is likely that Nutan herself wrote the lyrics for the film's songs.

    Song

  • Lehron Pe Lehar Ulfat Hai Jawan (Male) - The tune of this song was adapted from Dean Martin's "The Man Who Plays The Mandolino" (1957). The Dean Martin composition was also the basis for Anu Malik's "Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhen" ("Baazigar", 1993).[2][3]
