    Album

  • This film was critically acclaimed but failed at the box office. The film's cinematographer Ranjan Kothari attributed the film's failure to its weak second half. According to him, this may have been the result of the fact that director Rahul Rawail and writer Javed Akhtar had disagreed on the film's climax. Apparently, two versions of the climax were shot and Akhtar's version was eventually retained.[1]
