Trivia

    Album

  • Pradeep Kumar played a magician in the film. According to the opening credits, a magic show performed by his character was "conducted by" A.C. Sorcer. It is believed that this was a pseudonym for the famous magician P.C. Sorcar.

    Song

  • Chhodiye Gussa Huzoor - The tune of this song's mukhda was adapted from the country song "Bimbo". "Bimbo" was written by Glenn O'Dell in the 1940s and recorded first by Gene Autry in 1954. However, the song's most popular version was a 1957 cover version recorded by Jim Reeves. The Hindi film song "Dekho Mausam Kya Bahaar Hai" ("Opera House", 1961) was also based on "Bimbo".[1][2]
  • Do Chamakti Aankhon Mein - The tune for this song's mukhda may have been inspired by Harry Belafonte's "Jamaica Farewell" (1957).[3]
