  • This was an official remake of the Bengali film "Bhooter Bhobishyot" (2012), the directorial debut of Anik Dutta. Satish Kaushik and Amrish Shah adapted Dutta's original screenplay for this film.

  • Dasni Sharab Di - The song opened with a couplet written by Sardar Anjum - "Sharab cheez hi aisi hai na chhodi jaye / Yeh mere yaar ke jaisi hai na chhodi jaye". The couplet is best remembered as the mukhda of a popular Pankaj Udhas song.
  • Dil Apna Phokat Mein Nahin Doongi Re - This song was a tribute to Black & White cinema. Actress Mahie Gill attempted to emulate Meena Kumari in it.[1]
