- This film was based on the life of Mahatma Gandhi's assassin Nathuram Godse. The film's producer Santosh Rai played the eponymous role, showing him in a sympathetic light. Rai was arrested in 2014 on charges of cheating. He was accused of taking money from students promising them MBBS seats in colleges in Karnataka and not delivering. The police determined later that part of the money he made from the scam was used to produce this film. The film was launched in 2011 and its music was released in 2014. However, it is not clear if it was ever released or even certified.[1][2][3]
