Trivia

    Album

  • This film was released in theatres in 2001 but its audio release had happened earlier in 1997.
  • This was the Hindi film debut of music director Karthik Raja, Ilaiyaraaja's eldest son.
  • This was the only film released by Jackie Shroff's production house, Jackie Shroff Entertainment.
  • One of the film's producers, Prakash Jaju, would go on to become the business manager of Priyanka Chopra. They parted ways acrimoniously over a financial dispute. Jaju was arrested by the Mumbai Crime Branch for sending threatening messages to her.[1]

    Song

  • Aaj Main Khush Hoon - Karthik Raja used the tune of the Tamil film song "Netru Vandha Kaatru" ("Kanmani", 1994) for this song. The original song was composed by his father Ilaiyaraaja and sung by Ilaiyaraaja and S. Janaki.[2]
  • Yeh Sochta Hai Kya - The male singer in this song was wrongly credited as Jolly Mukherjee in the film's audio release.
