Trivia
- This film was adapted from the Australian TV miniseries "Bangkok Hilton" (1989).
- This was the only film in which Sanjay Dutt and Sridevi were paired together. They were slated to work together again in the film "Kalank" (2019) but that didn't happen because Sridevi died in 2018 and Madhuri Dixit was brought in to replace her.
