    एल्बम

  • The film was a tribute to the character actors of the Hindi film industry. It opened with a dedication to Vittal Bapurao Khote, aka Viju Khote, who passed away in September 2019, before its theatrical release. Debutant director Hardik Mehta modelled the film's protagonist, a character actor named Sudheer played by Sanjay Mishra, on a favourite actor of his, Sudhir. The film showed the making of a fictional film titled "Rana Bahadur Jung" inspired by the character actor Rana Jung Bahadur. The end credits paid tribute to character actors who were no more - Gope, Johnny Walker, Lalita Pawar, Dhumal, Tun Tun, David Abraham, Asit Sen, Mohan Choti, Manorama, Manmohan Krishna, Murad, Iftekhar, Sudhir, Mac Mohan, Jagdish Raj, Satyen Kappoo, Leela Mishra, Jeevan, Kamal Kapoor, Mukri, Keshto Mukherjee, Shetty, Bhushan Tiwari, Jalal Agha, Yunus Parvez, Yusuf Khan, Bob Christo, Rajesh Vivek, Ajit Vachani, Razak Khan, Shammi, Shrivallabh Vyas, Ashraf Ul Haq, Kedarnath Saigal, and Mahesh Anand.[1]
  • The film premiered at the Busan International Film Festival in October 2018. It was released in India in March 2020 after being shown at various film festivals around the world. The film was launched simply as "Kaamyaab" and was given a longer title for its certification by the CBFC. While the film was produced by Manish Mundra's Drishyam Films, Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment came on board for the theatrical release.[2][3]
  • This was the debut Hindi film of lyricist Neeraj Pandey.
