Trivia

    Album

  • This was a biopic of Haseena Parkar, the sister of the dreaded underworld criminal Dawood Ibrahim. The film was a long time in the making. Director Apoorva Lakhia had initially set out to make a film on Dawood. He met Haseena while researching for it and found her life very interesting. Lakhia suggested that they make a film on her instead and got the project okayed. Sonakshi Sinha was chosen to play the lead role. However, she opted out because of her busy schedule and was replaced by Shraddha Kapoor. Shraddha's real-life brother Siddhant Kapoor played Dawood, the brother of her character in the film. This was the first film in which the siblings worked together.[1]
  • Haseena Parkar's grandchildren played younger versions of her in the film.[2]

    Song

  • Bantai - This was the first Hindi film song sung by rapper Divine.
