    Album

  • This was a remake of the Telugu film "Parugu" (2008) written and directed by Bhaskar.
  • This was the debut Hindi film of its lead actors Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon. Kriti had debuted earlier in the Telugu film "1: Nenokkadine" (2014). The film's title was a reference to "Hero" (1983), the breakthrough film of Tiger's father Jackie Shroff. The popular flute theme of "Hero" (1983) was used in the background score of this film and also in one of its songs.[1]

  • Whistle Baja - While the rest of the songs in the film were released by T-Series, this song and its remix were released separately as singles by Saregama. This was because the flute piece in this song was taken from the popular flute theme of Saregama's "Hero" (1983) composed by Laxmikant - Pyarelal.[2]
