Trivia

    Album

  • This was filmmaker T.R. Ramanna's remake of his own superhit Tamil film "Panakkara Kudumbam" (1964) starring M.G Ramachandran and B. Saroja Devi. Ramanna later remade the film in Kannada as well. The Kannada film, titled "Bhale Huduga" (1978), starred Vishnuvardhan and Manjula.
  • This was the first film produced by actor Jeetendra's brother Prasan Kapoor under the banner of Tirupati Pictures.

    Song

  • Haye Re Haye Neend Nahin Aaye - Master Venu adapted the tune of this song for the Telugu film song "Malle Puvvulu" ("Attanu Diddina Kodalu", 1972). The Telugu song was sung by S.P. Balasubramaniam and S. Janaki.[1]
  • Yeh Kaisa Aaya Zamana - Mehmood parodied three generations of the Kapoor family in this song - Prithviraj Kapoor, Raj Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor. It was a riff on the film "Kal Aaj Aur Kal" (1971) which was under production at that time. Mukesh, a Kapoor family loyal, was deliberately not informed of the song's situation when he recorded it.[2]
