    Album

  • This film was a remake of the Telugu film "Subhodayam" (1980). The Kannada film "Idu Entha Premavayya" (1999) was also adapted from this Telugu film. The plot of the film "Rajaji" (1999) was very similar to that of this film.[1]
  • This was Rakesh Roshan's first film as a producer. His production company Filmkraft had produced the film "Aap Ke Deewane" (1979) earlier but Vimal Kumar was credited as its producer.[2]
  • Sonu Nigam played the nephew of Rakesh Roshan's character in this film and was named Sonu in the film as well.
