Trivia

    Album

  • This film was writer and director Narinder Bedi's adaptation of his own film "Khote Sikkay" (1973). Many of the cast and crew members of "Khote Sikkay" (1973) were repeated in this film. This included dialogue writer Satish Bhatnagar and actors Feroz Khan, Danny Denzongpa, Narendra Nath, Sudhir, Paintal, Kunwar Ajit and Aruna Irani among others. "Khote Sikkay" (1973) itself was most likely inspired by Akira Kurosawa's Japanese film "Seven Samurai" (1954) or by its American adaptation "The Magnificent Seven" (1960). These films also inspired the Hindi film "Sholay" (1975).[1][2]
  • This film was a long time in the making. Its audio records were issued in 1980 and it was certified in 1981 but it was released only in 1982.
