Trivia

    Album

  • Writer Shashi Bhushan adapted his story for this film and used it for the film "Uljhan" (1975). While Ashok Kumar played the lead role in this film, in "Uljhan" (1975) he played the role played by Nazir Hussain in the original.[1]
  • This was Ashok Kumar's second of three films with the same title - the other two films were released in 1939 and 1972. He is possibly the only Hindi film actor to work in three films with the same title.[2][3]
