  • This was Shamshad Begum's first Hindi film. She had sung earlier for a few Punjabi films for the same music director, Ghulam Haider.[MR3]
  • Producer Dalsukh Pancholi was extremely happy about the success of this film's music and gave music director Ghulam Haider a Raleigh bicycle as a mark of appreciation.[MR6]
  • This was the debut film of actor Jankidas. Jankidas Mehra play a pioneering role in promoting cycling as a sport in India. He was the first Indian cyclist to participate in an international event and helped establish the Cycling Federation of India in 1946. Jankidas was mentioned as a "World Cycle Champion" in the credits for this film.[1][2]
  • S.D. Narang made his acting debut in this 1941 film. In the film's title credits, he was credited as Kanwal, the name of his character in the film.
