- This was the last film produced by Mukesh Duggal. Known to have underworld connections, he was gunned down in 1997.[1]
- The lead actress of this film, Monica Bedi, was said to be the mistress of the film's producer, Mukesh Duggal. She was later romantically associated with the gangster Abu Salem, who was sentenced to life imprisonment for his role in the 1993 Mumbai blasts. She had acted in another Mukesh Duggal film prior to this, "Andaz Tera Mastana" (1994), but the film was not released.[2][3][4]
