- This film may have been inspired by the Hollywood film "Forces of Nature" (1999), starring Ben Affleck and Sandra Bullock.
- This was the debut film of actress Amrita Arora.
- Producer and director Mehul Kumar had a series of legal troubles after this film related to financial disputes with people he had borrowed money from. Jayantilal Gada of PEN who lent him Rs. 3 crores for this film, had alleged that he had lent Kumar an additional Rs. 3 crores to make another film. However, Kumar apparently didn't make that film and diverted Gada's money to build a shopping mall in Jamnagar. After protracted legal battles, a Jamnagar court sentenced Mehul Kumar to 6 months in jail in a different financial dispute case.[1][2]
