Trivia

    Album

  • The plot of this film may have been inspired by the spaghetti Western "Guns for San Sebastian" (1968) starring Anthony Quinn and Charles Bronson.
  • This was actor Dharmendra's only Hindi film with Subhash Ghai. However, years later, Dharmendra would feature in the first Punjabi film produced by Subhash Ghai, "Double Di Trouble" (2014).
  • This was a rare Hindi film of its time in which the songs and background score were composed by two different, top-tier music directors. Music directors Kalyanji - Anandji were brought in to compose the film's background music since Laxmikant - Pyarelal, who had composed the film's songs, were busy at the time.
  • This film was in the making for several years.
  • Actress Vimi, who passed away in 1977 before the release of this film, had a small, uncredited role in it.
  • This was Dharmendra's only film for his brother-in-law, producer Ranjit Virk. Virk was married to Dharmendra's cousin.
