    Album

  • The film was dedicated to the memory of actor Bharat Bhooshan's wife Sarla Bhooshan, who passed away during its making. The dedication read, "This film is dedicated to the beloved memory of Sarla Bhooshan who passed prematurely away on 12th November 1954 at 10 pm. May her spirit forever be present with us in wifely solicitude for Bharat and as a source of inspiration and strength to her Bhai Saheb.".
  • The film was launched with Madhubala as the female lead. There were news articles and promotional material announcing her as the film's heroine. She was later replaced by Bina Rai due to unknown reasons.

  • Shama Par Jal Ke Bhi Parwana (Sitaaron Se Aage Jahan Aur Bhi Hain) - The song opened with a couplet written by Allama Iqbal - "Sitaaron se aage jahan aur bhi hain / Abhi ishq ke imtihan aur bhi hain". This couplet was also rendered by Talat Mahmood in the film's climax but his version was not issued on music records.
