- This was the Hindi film debut of Daler Mehndi's son Gurdeep Mehndi. He was the film's lead actor and music director. He also sang songs for the film. Daler Mehndi produced the film, his wife Nikki Mehndi wrote lyrics for it, and his daughter Ajit Mehndi sang a duet with her brother in it.
- The film was certified and its music released in December 2012. The film was theatrically released in January 2013.
