Trivia

    Album

  • This was writer, director Onir's debut film. It was also actor Sanjay Suri's first film as a producer. The two had worked together earlier during the making of "Daman" (2001). Onir was the assistant director for "Daman" (2001) and directed parts of it when director Kalpana Lajmi fell ill during its making.[1][2]
  • The film was based on the real-life story of Dominic D'Souza, the first Goan diagnosed with AIDS. It was one of the earliest mainstream films to deal with homosexuality.[3]
