Trivia

    Album

  • This film was shelved due to a dispute between the film's producer and director Jalal Agha, and its financiers. There were attempts made in the 2000s to get the film released but they did not succeed.
  • This film was shot in Lohardaga in present-day Jharkhand. Jalal Agha was inspired to make a film shot in and about the natural beauty of Lohardaga after visiting his school friend Nandlal Sahu there. In fact, Nandlal Sahu hosted the crew and cast of the film during the film's shooting, and his brother Sheo Prasad Sahu and some of the employees of his farm acted in the film.[1]
  • This film was actor Jalal Agha's directorial debut and his only film as a producer. While this film remains shelved, he did direct another Hindi film that saw a release - "Goonj" (1989).[2]
