- The release of this film was delayed by several years due to objections raised by the Censor Board. When the board eventually cleared the film, it could not be released due to the lockdown of theatres during the COVID-19 pandemic. It saw a limited theatrical release in December 2020, about four years after the death of its lead actor Om Puri. The film was dedicated to his memory. The title of the film, which was launched as "Rambhajjan Zindabad", was changed as a tribute to him. The film was also dedicated to the memory of Jagdeep, another actor in the film who passed away before its release.[1]
