Trivia

    Album

  • This film was based on K. Balachander's play "Major Chandrakanth". Balachander himself adapted his play into a Tamil film of the same name in 1966.
  • Not considering dubbed films, this was South Indian actress K.R. Vijaya's only Hindi film. Although she played Feroz Khan's romantic interest in it and even appeared in two songs, her screen time was quite less. On the other hand, Jayalalitha, who played the female lead in the Tamil film adaptation "Major Chandrakanth" (1966), had a substantial role.[MR10]

    Song

  • Jaag Dil-E-Deewana Rut Jaagi Vasl-E-Yaar Ki - The saxophone solos in the song were played by Manohari Singh.[1]
