Trivia

    Album

  • The film was originally commissioned as a Rajya Sabha TV (RSTV) series about the Indian National Army Trials, also known as the Red Fort Trials. The series was kicked off during the term of Vice President Hamid Ansari but was never released. However, footage from it was used to produce this feature film. It was released shortly before the end of Hamid Ansari's term as Vice President. About a year after its release, an inquiry was initiated into the functioning of RSTV and the expenses incurred for the film. Gurdeep Sappal, the CEO and Editor-in-Chief of RSTV who commissioned the film, defended the channel's functioning and said that the inquiry was unjustified. A year after it was set up, the inquiry concluded that RSTV had gone beyond its mandate in producing the film and sent a notice to Sappal seeking an explanation. Sappal, who had resigned from RSTV soon after Hamid Ansari's term ended, termed the inquiry "bogus" and blamed his successors for botching up the film's marketing and distribution.[1][2]

    Song

  • Hawaon Mein Woh Aag Hai - The song included lines from the popular marching band song "Qadam Qadam Badhaye Ja" which was originally composed by Ram Singh Thakuri and written by Vanshidhar Shukla in 1942. The song became the regimental quick march of Subhash Chandra Bose's Indian National Army.
  • Teri Zameen - This was music director Siddharth Pandit's debut Hindi film song.
