Trivia

    Album

  • This was a rare film in which all the songs were sung by one singer - Suman Kalyanpur in this case.
  • HMV published a non-film record in 1964 featuring songs based on the tunes of "Berlin Melody" (1961) and "Come September" (1961) - tunes that inspired two songs in this film. The song adapted from "Berlin Melody" (1961) was titled "Dil Dhak Dhak" and the one based on "Come September" (1961) was titled "Rimjhim Rimjhim". As in this film, the songs in the non-film record were sung by Suman Kalyanpur. However, while Yogesh Gaud wrote the songs in this film, Shailendra wrote the two non-film songs. The non-film record credited the original songs and did not have any music director credit.[1][2]

    Song

  • Ya Rabba Rabba Ho - The tune of this song was based on the instrumental track "Berlin Melody" written by Gunther Franzke and Herman Gaze and recorded by Billy Vaughn in 1961.[3]
  • Aaja Mere Humzuban Main Dhoondhoon Yahan Tu Hai Kahan - The mukhda of this song was based on Bobby Darin's theme music for the Hollywood film "Come September" (1961). This theme was used in many other Hindi films - for the songs "Pyar Ki Aag Mein Tan Badan Jal Gaya" ("Ziddi", 1964), "Pukarta Chala Hoon Main" ("Mere Sanam", 1965), "Nazrein Mili Dil Dhadka" ("Raja", 1995) and "Dole Dole Dil Dole" ("Baazi", 1995) and in the background score of several films including "Kahin Pyar Na Ho Jaye" (1963), "Woh Kaun Thi" (1964) and "Hamraaz" (1967).[4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11]
