Trivia

    Song

  • Dukhiya Ki Bhi Sun Lo Bhagwan Tum Hi Ho - It is likely that this is Majrooh Sultanpuri's first Hindi film and not "Shahjehan" (1946) as popularly believed. While this film was certified on May 6 1946, "Shahjehan" (1946) was certified later - on July 18 of the same year. Similarly, since record numbers were issued sequentially, it appears that records of this song were released before the songs of "Shahjehan" (1946). The record number of this song was GE 3665 and the record numbers of Majrooh's songs in "Shahjehan" (1946) were in the GE 37* series. "Keemat" (1946), the third Majrooh film in 1946, was certified on October 4 1946 and its music records were in the GE 38* series.[1][2]
