Trivia

    Album

  • This film credited its music to Suraj, who was listed as "An assistant of Shankar Jaikishan" in the film's opening credits and publicity material. It is widely acknowledged that Suraj was a pseudonym for Shankar himself. He later used the same stage name to sing a song for the film "Kshitij" (1974) whose music was composed by Sharda, with whom Shankar was said to be in a relationship.[1]
  • The film was dedicated to filmmaker Dadasaheb Phalke. The dedication before the opening credits described him as the "father of the Indian film industry".
