    Album

  • This was Anubhav Sinha's directorial debut. It was also the debut film of its lead actors, Priyanshu Chatterjee, Himanshu Malik and Sandali Sinha.
  • Anubhav Sinha also directed the spiritual successor to this film, "Tum Bin 2" (2016). The film's heroine Sandali Sinha made an uncredited cameo appearance in the sequel.[1]
  • This film was remade in Telugu as "Ela Cheppanu" (2003).
  • This was the Hindi film debut of composers Ravi Pawar and T.S. Jarnail aka Taz Stereo Nation.

  • Tumhare Siva Kuch Naa Chaahat Karenge - Nikhil - Vinay had originally composed this tune for the song "Tere Naam Lene Ki Chaahat Hui Hai" ("Yeh Lamhe Judaai Ke", 2004), but when the film was shelved in 1994, they decided to use it for this song.[2]
  • Koi Fariyaad Dil Mein Dabi Ho Jaise (Jaagte Jaagte) - This song was sampled in a song in this film's sequel, "Teri Fariyad" ("Tum Bin 2", 2016). Music director Ankit Tiwari recorded Rekha Bhardwaj's singing for "Teri Fariyad" and mixed it with Jagjit Singh's voice from this song.[3]
  • Thoda Daaroo Vich Pyar Mila De Nashe Diye Band Botalen - Taz, who sang this song, also appeared onscreen singing it.
  • Thoda Daaroo Vich Pyar Mila De Nashe Diye Band Botalen - The song was re-created by Raghav Sachar for the Hindi film "Guest Iin London" (2017).[4]
  • Tum Bin Jiya Jaye Kaise - Nikhil - Vinay had originally composed this tune for the song "Yaadein Teri Yaadein" ("Yeh Lamhe Judaai Ke", 2004) but when the film was shelved in 1994, they decided to use it for this song.[5]
