Trivia

    Album

  • Amit Trivedi was roped in by the film's director Ayan Mukerji to do the background score of this film since Shankar - Ehsaan - Loy, who composed the songs for the film and who were slated to do the background score, had scheduling issues.[1]
  • This was Ayan Mukerji's directorial debut. Ayan is the son of actor Deb Mukerji and the grandson of producer Sashadhar Mukerji.
  • This was the debut film of actor Tiku Talsania's daughter, Shikha Talsania.

    Song

  • Iktara - The original version of this song had lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. However, the lyricist of the film's other songs, Javed Akhtar, did not want to share credits with anyone else and ended up rewriting the lyrics for this song.[2]
  • Iktara (Male) - This song, with original lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya instead of Javed Akhtar's re-written lyrics, was not part of the audio release of the film since Amit Trivedi recorded this version during the advanced stages of the film's production. This version appeared on screen though.[3]
  • Boondon Ke Moti - This song was part of the film's background score by Amit Trivedi. It was not part of the audio release.
