Altaf Raja is an Indian playback singer, actor and a music composer.
He was born in October, 1967 in Nagpur, Maharashtra. His debut album, "Tum To Thehre Pardesi" was released in 1997 and became very popular.
He first sang for the film "Chandaal" (1998) and then other films like "Benaam" (1999), "Company" (2002). He has composed the music for films "Dus" (1997) and "Market" (2003).
He has also acted in the films "Shapath" (1997) and "Mother" (1999).
In 2013, he made a bit of a comeback by singing the song "Jholu Ram" ("Ghanchakkar") for Amit Trivedi.
