Hari Om Sharan was a renowned bhajan singer. Born in Lahore, Pakistan, Hari Om Sharan’s family moved to India after the Partition. In 1973, he began his career in music by singing for HMV and went on to sing over 2500 bhajans and released over 20 albums in a career spanning 35 years.
Some of his popular bhajans include “Govind Jai Jai Gopal Jai Jai”, “Maili Chadar Odhke Kaise”, “Hanuman Chalisa”, “Tera Ramji Karenge Bedaa Paar” and “Aarti Kunj Bihari Ki”.
