Nikhil Paul George is a playback singer in Bollywood who came into the limelight in 2012 with Anurag Basu’s “Barfi!”.
Born to Malayali parents and brought up in Nagpur, he is currently based out of London. He studied music composition at the Royal College of Music, London and now works as a freelance musician.
In “Barfi!”, he has sung “Main Kya Karoon” and “Aashiyan”, a duet with Shreya Ghoshal, under the music direction of Pritam. Earlier, he has worked with Pritam on songs like “Te Amo” (“Dum Maro Dum”, 2011), “I Love You” (“Bodyguard”, 2011), “Rabba Mein Toh Mar Gaya Oye” (“Mausam”, 2011), “Jhoom Jhoomta Ja” (“Players”, 2012), “Rusys Theme” and “Life Yeh Mausambi Si” (“Ferrari Ki Sawari”, 2012) and “Daaru Desi” (“Cocktail”, 2012) as a vocal recording engineer, vocal arranger, programmer, conductor and backing vocal performer.
