Raju Singh is a music composer and singer in the entertainment industry. He has to his credit over 300 Indian soap operas and 30 jingles that he has composed music for. He has also given background scores for over 35 Hindi films.
Raju Singh is the son of musician, Charanjit Singh, and their family is into the musical instrument business. Guitar has been Raju’s favourite instrument since childhood. His formal training in music began with Uttam Singh.
The background scores of movies like “Chandni Bar” (2001), “Fida” (2004), “Zeher” (2005), “Kalyug” (2005), “Corporate” (2006), “Page 3” (2005), “Gangster” (2006) and “Krazzy 4” (2008) have all been done by Raju Singh.
As a music director he has worked on movies like “Paagalpan” (2001), “Satta” (2003), “Charas” (2004), “Raaz” (2009), “Pankh” (2010) and “Yeh Dooriyan” (2011). He has worked with music directors like Laxmikant-Pyarelal, R. D. Burman, Anand-Milind, Uttam Singh, Anu Malik, Viju Shah, Jatin-Lalit and Nadeem-Shravan. Hariharan, Asha Bhosle, Udit Narayan, Sonu Niigaam, Kumar Sanu, Shaan, Shankar Mahadevan, Sunidhi Chauhan, KK, Shreya Ghoshal and Javed Ali are some of the singers who have associated with him.
