Suchismta Das is a Hindustani classical vocalist. She started training in classical music when she was only 4 years old. She continued her training under Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty and as a scholar in the Sangeet Research Academy, Kolkata.

Suchismita has performed in many concerts and has had the opportunity of sharing the stage with renowned artists like Trilok Gurtu, Hariharan and Shankar Mahadevan. On A.R. Rahman's recommendation she got the opportunity to sing for composer Thomas Newman's score for the film "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" (2011). She has been the anchor for Zee Bangla's "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa". She received attention at the national level for her rendition of A.R. Rahman's "Jagao Mere Des Ko" in Season 3 of MTV Coke Studio.
