- Salil Chowdhury had used the tune of this song previously for the Bengali film song "Ei Duniyae Shobi Hoi" ("Ek Din Raatre", 1956). "Ek Din Raatre" (1956) was the Bengali version of "Jagte Raho" (1956) and this tune was used in the Bengali equivalent of the Hindi film song "Zindagi Khwab Hai" ("Jagte Raho", 1956).[1][2]
